All the lesson plans here are for the month of March. Try to complete all of them within the time given, and if possible earlier. There will be new lesson plans posted each week. Read all instructions carefully before you begin your work daily.

Reading, writing and spelling and grammar skills can help you tell a story, share your ideas, write a letter and make sense of instructions. We use them everyday and they help us understand each other. Make sure you learn a section from all three categories daily.
Reading

This section looks at reading fiction and non fiction texts including adverts, dictionaries and poetry. Learn how to look at language, layout and meaning.

Example:

Writing is an important part of communicating with others. You need to write in a way your reader can easily understand what you are trying to tell them.

Poor spelling and grammar can be really confusing! A good understanding of spelling and grammar will make you a better writer, reader and all round communicator.

MATHEMATICS (Spend 1 hour on this subject)

During each session, spend 30 minutes on Numbers and then another 30 minutes on Xtra maths

Numbers (spend 30 minutes on this chapter before you move on to Xtra math)

Knowing simple sums and learning useful calculations can help you with everyday tasks. In this section you will be learning about decimals, fractions, money, percentages etc.

Start with the 1st topic (Addition & Multiplication) and make sure you complete 2 sections (Read & Quiz) and get full marks for the quiz before moving on to the next topic. If you do not get full marks, read the whole section again and repeat the quiz until you get full marks.
